Caravans Toolkit
Caravans for Democracy are peaceful, highly visible mobile actions that travel through New Hampshire towns sparking community connection, pro-democracy engagement, and statewide visibility. Anyone of any age can join. On Caravan dates, simply RSVP and we’ll match you with a team near you.
What They Are
Peaceful driving actions that extend our bridge visibility
onto the roads—bringing pro-democracy messages
into New Hampshire communities. Caravans use
decorated vehicles, flags, and signs to make support for
democracy visible in towns across the state.
Our most effective use of caravans is supporting existing pro-democracy protests by safely driving around the protest area. The visibility energizes protesters, boosts morale, and shows the broader community that many people stand together in support of democracy. 🚗🇺🇸
How Many Vehicles Does it Take to Make a Caravan
Even one vehicle can be a Caravan. Simply decorate your vehicle with pro-democracy messages and drive through your community. Many of our caravans begin with just one or two vehicles. Visibility matters, and every car helps people see that their neighbors care about democracy.
As more vehicles join, coordination becomes more important. Caravans with more than three vehicles may get separated at traffic lights, so clear routes and communication help keep the group together.
How They Work
Volunteers travel together like a moving bridge—waving, smiling, and sharing positive, pro-democracy messages with thousands of people along the route. Caravans bring visibility to neighborhoods, town centers, and busy roads, helping people see that support for democracy is alive and active in their community.
Why They Matter
Caravans carry our message farther, reaching people who may never pass one of our bridges. By bringing pro-democracy visibility into neighborhoods, town centers, and everyday roads, caravans connect with people where they live and drive every day.
Even a small caravan can spark honks, waves, and conversations — reminding people that support for democracy is visible and growing in their own communities.
