March 2026

The March 2026 edition of From Where We Stand, the newsletter of the NH Bridge Brigade for Democracy, highlights the continued energy and growth of the statewide bridge movement as volunteers gather across New Hampshire to show visible support for democracy. The issue celebrates the dedication of bridge teams and community members, shares updates from recent actions and organizing efforts, and invites readers to participate in upcoming bridge events and volunteer opportunities. It emphasizes the power of consistent, peaceful public presence and community connection as the Brigade continues building a strong network of people standing together for democratic values across the state.

February 2026

This issue of From Where We Stand reflects on an extraordinary January marked by rapid response, resilience, and deep volunteer commitment. NHBBD members organized dozens of pop-up bridge actions across New Hampshire, including multiple overnight mobilizations during moments of political crisis, while also caring for one another through a demanding month. The newsletter celebrates the winning name of the newsletter itself, shares a powerful turnout story from Dover, invites community participation through music and ideas, and reaffirms NHBBD’s gratitude for all who continue to stand — visibly and collectively — for democracy.

January 2026

Our January 2026 NH Bridge Brigade newsletter starts with a renewed commitment from our leadership team to our cause and our democracy.  It reviews our first Caravans for Democracy and December Bridge Brigades, love letters from our members, and some new content on our website.  Find out how to help us name the newsletter, learn about our supportive partners, and get ready for all the upcoming events including our 2nd in person breakfast potluck!  Also included are ways to become a part of our events team and other volunteer opportunities, as well as ways to share your thoughts and feedback.

December 2025

This month’s NH Bridge Brigade newsletter shares Bridgley the Bridge Gorilla’s origin story, celebrates our first breakfast gathering and a fierce, freezing Veterans Day bridge action, and launches new ways to show up — from cornflower-blue Bridgley T-shirts to our first Caravans for Democracy and the final 2025 statewide bridge day. It also offers guidance on sharing bridge space with other groups, calls for volunteers, and points you to our safety guidelines, Slack community, and photo-sharing channels.

November 2025

This inaugural issue announces the Brigade’s transformation into an official 501(c)(4), celebrates the huge success of the “No Kings” protest across 25 bridges, and introduces the new website, statewide protest calendar, and early fundraising efforts. It also welcomes readers into a new era of communication through Slack, highlights the growing network of Bridge Captains, shares safety updates, and invites volunteers to help shape the movement’s next chapter.
