What is a Peaceful Bridge Event?
STEP 1: We call a Statewide Bridge Action - We set the dates for statewide bridge actions and announce them here on our website and in our private Facebook group.
Sometimes our timing aligns with 50501, No Kings, Visibility Brigade or others and sometimes we call our own—but every time we rise together for justice, democracy, and freedom.

STEP 3: Choose Your Bridge: Choosing and registering your bridge isn’t just a formality — it’s how we protect one another. It lets the Admin Team spot bridges with too few people, move folks around, and keep every team members is safe while our peaceful message for justice, democracy, and freedom stays strong.

STEP 4: Banners & Signs: Team members create their own banners and signs—big, bold, and visible from the road. Letters should be 18–24 inches tall. Some use foam boards, some paint sheets—whatever works! We’ve got plenty of ideas to share.

STEP 5: Peaceful. Powerful. Unstoppable: We promote 100% peaceful events. Our signs awaken people from complacency and draw them to the movement. If approached or harassed, we do not engage—our strength is in our unity and our message

STEP 6: Always, Always, Safety First: Before every bridge protest, we review safety guidelines, hand out whistles, and assign roles—lookouts, videographers, and more. We build strong teams who watch out for one another, because protecting each other is how we protect our peaceful movement.

STEP 7: Celebrating Our Bridge Actions" We celebrate by sharing photos and videos, counting the 18-wheelers that honk, and noticing our smiles as complacency gives way to courage. As Joan Baez said, “Action is the antidote to despair.” Our souls are fed by standing shoulder to shoulder with fellow patriots who refuse to sit back while our rights are stripped away. And then—we excitedly get ready for the next Event.
